National Drink Beer Day #3. Lightest in color, but probably most flavorful. Not really in a good way. Tasted the least traditional - probably the oak in the process. There's a spice note that is just kinda meh to me.

Of all the Märzen I’ve had this season, this is one of the better ones. Oak barrels giving it just the slightest vanilla flavor. Malt forward as you would expect, but picking up hops on the finish.

A fair shot, but it's so rare for even the best of American breweries to do justice to a German Märzen. There is always just a bit of that deep grainy sweetness and roundness that's missing. Still well balanced and refreshing.
