Emma

For what some might think is a simple beer, Emma could be the hardest beer we brew to put into words; but we will attempt to anyway. Inspired by one of our favorite beers ever, this Belgian White Ale is neither Witbier nor “Wheat Beer.” It’s an elegant hybrid, using our house Belgian yeast alongside pilsner malt and oats to replicate the defacto Belgian White appearance while creating a fluffier mouthfeel that hugs the palate instead of bouncing off it too quickly. Not reliant on adding spices, our Belgian yeast emits a beautiful bouquet of Asian pears, orange blossoms, lemon zest, gooseberries, chamomile flowers, and a hint of peach skins. With such a beautiful aroma and pillowy oat-laden mouthfeel, Emma can be a beer you crush all day in the summer, but it was still designed to be the beer you want on the table with a nice home-cooked meal.
