Flanders Red With Sour Cherries And Black Raspberries
Sour - Flanders Red Ale
Very approachable Flanders, tart and downright juicy at times. Oak is lurking in there too albeit subdued. A fine offering, thanks Giles B.Earned the Middle of the Road (Level 44) badge!
Vinegar like aroma. Earthy cherries with a touch of raspberry. More earthy than tart. Has an old, dusty mouthfeel.
Very oakey, smooth

Enjoyable overall: sour cherries blend well with yeast funk, raspberries tart & a bit sweet, nice oakiness & mild acidity. #notsponsored

Great nose as you'd expect from a Flanders, but the fruit undermines some of its qualities. Feels more like a lambic with the stone fruit.Earned the Pucker Up (Level 20) badge!
