Hooked ESB (2017)

Our late brother, Dean, aka “Redhook” loved a certain beer originally made famous in his native Pacific Northwest. This British-style ESB was brewed on his birthday in his honor. British Maris Otter malt provides the backbone for the floral and earthy notes delivered by Kent Goldings hops. This year's version uses GigaYeast Vermont IPA yeast, which provides a bit more fruity ester in the nose than last year.
