This one get extremely high marks for eluding expectations. Drinks like a sour upfront with a ton of tart ume, despite the dark appearance of the beer. Tartness then eventually fades into the dark chocolatey undertones of the Porter. Super interesting.

黒色で泡は茶色の、炭酸を感じるビール。 香りは自然発酵特有のものと、仄かに梅を感じる。 飲むと、自然発酵の酸っぱさと共に梅が口の中に広がる。後味にオーク樽とカラメルの香りとが残り、全体として複雑な味。 最初飲みにくいかもと思ったが、二口目から味わい方がわかり、じっくり味わって飲みたくなる。

Far Yeast Brewing Company: Ume is often misnamed as a Japanese "Plum" (it's actually an apricot). They are small and are super sour. Used to make Umeboshi and Umeshu
