Mid brown color with a touch of orange. Quite hazy. Thick dense foam. Nose has Jamaican spices and notes of rum. Also a feint tart smell. Flavor has a sharp tartness up front, that gradually mellows into a malt and spice, but with underlying sourness.

Beautifully balanced; enough dunk to know it’s a farmhouse ale, but not the least bit pungent. Little bit of floral, little bit of spice, little bit of orange, all quite nice. Paired surprisingly well with smoked salmon. Great start to Thanksgiving!
