The pour is black giving to a growing head is not careful. Bright and open on the nose with just a touch of chocolate sweetness. This is a full Imperial Stout with a rich mouthfeel that doesn't get bitter on the swallow, but nice coffee notes.

Gavin Fury: FlandersNed several years ago did a 10 year vertical of Expedition and Untappd flagged us for “non-approved vintages” and folded them all into the main beer entry so now I don’t know which is which so fuck me for wanting to record my experiences I guess😂
FlandersNed: Lesson learned: always record the vintage in your notes I guess! ‘98 is the best vintage ever.
Jeremy Stackpole: I think the oldest was 2002 that we tried. I have a 2008 hanging out. Probably save that for a 20 year check in.
