Barrel Aged Players (06/2020)

Over one year ago we took a portion of the yield from Players, a beer conceptualized with our friends Three Chiefs Brewing Co. and added it to Willet Bourbon barrels. BA Players was then treated with Madagascar vanilla beans, Fiji cacao nibs, toasted coconut, and Mostra Coffee Ghost Bear espresso blend. The beer pours jet black with a tan head. Aromas of fudge, oak, and coconut lead the way into flavors of thick brownie batter melded with coconut flakes, sweet vanilla, wheated bourbon, and an affirming coffee note that harmonizes all of the flavors in a perfectly even keeled adjunct proportion. Bourbon barrel notes cup the adjuncts in a beer that is thicker than its base with a creamy milk chocolate viscosity in a perfectly wrapped finish. Show Less
