Prior to being able to get Epic beers in Chicago, I purchased this during one of my visits to Minneapolis/Saint Paul. This Release was bottled in Dec 2013, so just over eight years ago. The coffee has held up well. Smooth. Coffee, chocolate, and whiskey.

Whoops, forgot about this in the fridge. Still some carbonation when popped open, but tastes flat. Lovely coffee, roasty, whiskey aromas. Roastyness, whiskey, dark, malty flavors. Nice mouthfeel.

#cellaringInPlace #2017 WHOA - light bourbon malty whiskey aroma. Deep, dark, roasty, then the whiskey. Really good - why I like Epic brews.
