A touch sharp compared to the others. Malty, some toffee and molasses.

From the cellar of disrepute. Old and tasting so, but still with lots of rich darkness. Certainly, this is fallen, and gravely so, but the sense of this ale comes through the darkness and age to give us a hint of its one-time majesty.

Ooh man, this 26-year-old barley wine may be the best I’ve had. Got it from the Falling Rock Tap House cellar sale prior to their closure. Beautifully matured malt profile with caramel, nuttiness and fruit notes. Carbonation had maintained over the years!

A gift from my late Father about 20 years ago. Incredibly rich, malty and treacley. Quite the treat. Thanks, Dad.

This is the oldest beer I've ever had and it is pretty damn good, somehow the cap hissed when opened, it had some sort of carbonation. This is mind boggling how beer lasts 25 years. I'd love another one of these but my birthday year - 1993.
