Ooops Amber Ale

We did it again, due to a supplier mix-up we have a batch of Twisted Red that isn’t quite Twisted Red. We took it a little further this time, we know what the error was, so instead of leaving it alone we added some hops. Cascade and Centennial were added and it has made a nice hoppy amber. Its color is a crystal-clear copper, aromas of toffee, caramel, with some light citrus. The flavors are fun, it leads in with the toffee roast malt character, the middle is grapefruit and lemon, and the end is nutty. It’s a delicious mistake.

Batch#1
This easy drinking Amber Ale is a close cousin to the Twisted Red. The American hop bill stands out a bit more in this beer because of the slightly lower caramel/molasses/raisin sweetness that is the result of a change in crystal malt. There will be a slightly dryer finish to the beer along with a very slight increase in perceived bitterness from hops. Show Less
