Fairly typical Barleywine; full of dark fruits; nice flavor; sweet up front, and a touch of roasted malt at the end; also getting some chocolate, which seems a little a-typical; great tasting Barleywine.

This was a fun comparison. The 21 definitely packs more flavor but the 22 is much smoother and easier to drink...both need more barrel. Also they both have a mild hoppy bitter finish that is a little off-putting but not too distracting.
