This barrel-aged imperial stout is a beefed up version of favorite imperial stout, Drakonic. Tons of layered malt aromas and flavors of dark fruit and chocolate balance out its insane 13.5% abv. This beer is aged for a year in Heaven Hill and Old Forrester barrels with Amburana chips, which imparts a ton of vanilla, barrel spice and slight coconut aromatics to the beer.
