DEYA X National Star

Brewed with National Star College. A big bodied pale ale. Citra Lupomax bringing sweet citrus and mango and Mosaic BBC and Cryo for ripe, squishy blueberry and a touch of dankness.

This is our third collaboration with local college, National Star, who support young people with complex disabilities. The proceeds will go towards National Star's £1.5 million public appeal to build a new specialist residence at Ullenwood.

Back to our fundamentals on this one, with Citra and Mosaic having a right old time together! The beer is brewed with some oats and some wheat...you know the score by now. We used multiple forms of the hops. BBC pellets, T90 pellets and Lupomax pellets. What does this mean I hear you ask? There are different methods for preparing hop pellets, the idea is to preserve (and/or concentrate) the aromatic oils as much as possible. Different methods will inherently alter the aroma and flavour presentation of the hops. Slightly more citrus, slightly more dank, slightly more tropical etc. Using these different forms brings more layers to the hop character of the beer. Same same but different. Show Less
