🏴 #1001Beers No.674 (all edns) 31 Mar 2023. Complex dark fruit malts. Nose: Cola, cheap coffee, creme caramel. Mouth like stewed prunes. End like a cheap choc-ice, tobacco onions or braised chicory. Hope one day that I'll sup a 2nd pint!

Back to the old scrapbook to log sipping from a few years back. This one was drunk on 17/11/2011. I thought it had lots of sweet liquorice treacle with no hoppiness and a strange mix of body with very little mouthfeel. Not great.

Very LCi : 4.2.11.. Me & Dave at Chesterfield 'Peaks & Lakes' 2011 Beer Festival. No memory of this (shame) but my notes say this was a rich, sweet, full-on stout
