Oomphhh! This is deep deep treacle, with a spiritual richness. Don’t particularly get whisky barrels coming through, more red wine, but it all comes together really quite spectacularly.

Imperial stout aged in Lough Ree Distillery Whiskey Barrels. Big and boozy, rich, smoky, woody. Raisin and fig fruit. Lovely stuff.
