8/4/8/5/17 - Aroma of bourbon, oak, caramel, dates, figs and almond. Not super thick, but really complex and full flavoured. Some sweetness, light roasty and lots of dried fruit flavours. Booze is there, but it melds in so well. Typically awesome.

Nice flavors but expected a lot more. The barrel flavors were quite weak, the beer a lot thinner than expected.

Good old-school impy stout, toothy dark roast, dry and ashy roast, bit of booze, baking cocoa, a bit of torched wood, earth. Wouldn’t say I get a lot of bourbon but maybe a little burnt caramel and vanilla. Dangerously drinkable.
