Still held up pretty well after several years or so. Tasting mostly coffee, subtle salty licorice and baker’s chocolate with a vinous feel from the red wine barrels. Boozy and strong, yet gentle and generate no heat.

Not everyday I have such a vintage beer. Very nice but was expecting a bit more wow. Lots of barrel presence -- six years in a barrel, after all. Boozy, nutty.
