Been sitting on this for half a decade. I think this is getting close to the point where the beer starts to get worse with time, but wildly interesting and complex right now. Hasn’t mellowed as expected - if anything it is even more up front. Love it.

I've checked into this a few times before. Is this aged version better? This was certainly explosive, but with a softer carbonation; lots of brett to this, not much pear. Delicious, but I don't think it was better than before.

#annovertical 2017: first full year of biking to work, more family life than ever, started my Masters. The beer though, exploded and we lost half of it to the foam on the table. Bret is really strong here and fruit alcohol. Maybe 1yr past prime. 2018?

This definitely got better with age in my opinion. The bottle over carbed quite a bit so it overflowed when I opened it which churned up the yeast cake. Not sure if that was just Brett magic, or diastaticus or what. Still so delicious either way!

Love this beer! Way better after some cellaring. Thanks cordy. Father’s Day beers. 👍🏾

Caught it all before it gushed out. Typical for a cellared Brett brew. Super active carbonation. Super tasty, bright and dry.

Hal Hickey: Ouch, that is too bad. These are gushers, and the debris gets stirred up with it. But I was ready to pour fast with a fine mesh filter.
Brandon Archer: It was this year that had an issue with chunkiness. Every other year has been fine for me.

Last one which I unfortunately couldn't drink. Way too sedimenty.

After getting by the opening gusher, rushing to the sink & dumping as much into the glass before half gushed into the sink, the beer was excellent!

Some settlement. Fruity with light funk. Dry finish. Aged well.

Careful pour = good result. Ripe pear, spices, and high carbonation

Rarely, if ever, does a beer seem to improve with time. This is one of those times. Incredible depth of flavour and an all around lovely beer. Dageraad does no wrong even after 3 years.

From yesterday. Aged nicely - a lot drier, but the fruit still has presence and leads the other flavours. Background spices show up more, and the flavours all want to linger without fighting for attention.
