1137 Crossroads - Peoples Choice

First settled in the early to mid 1800's the small town of Crossroads, named so due to its location at the point where two thoroughfares intersected and later renamed after an early settler (John E. Wynn) established a homestead, became a bustling community and major trade center helping to fuel the move west. To honor the roots of Crossroads and it's variety, we have been brewing this beer exactly the same except for the dry hops.
We wanted to let folks experience the different flavors and aromas that hops can bring. We did not want to do a SMaSH like everyone else because we feel the best way to experience the hops is in a full bodied and complex beer. We wanted the different malts to coexist with and compliment the subtle variances in the hops and so we experimented with a dozen different hops and kept tabs on the ones that got the best feedback.
So finally, here it is, the Peoples Choice, dry hopped at 3 different times, using a blend of the 3 hops that folks liked the best; El Dorado, Willamette and Meridian. Sit back and enjoy the spectacle that is truly East Texas. Show Less
