This was pretty good. It def held up well. Big malt presence w deep roast and a little smoke to it. Firm but smooth bitterness comes out up front. Light edge of rye malt. spice melds into oak. Lightly sweet bourbon presence. Pretty simple but complex.

Took a brief break for some bourbon and whiskey tasting, but now we are back. :) The aroma is unremarkable malt, maybe hints of metal from the cap. Watery mouthfeel for a 14% imperial stout. Bitter coffee ground flavors. Maybe I let it sit too long?
