At first when this was fairly cold, I really didn’t like it. Significantly better when it warms up. The barrel notes really come out and you can taste the apple brandy. Still not tops though.

Malty sweetness balanced with apple brandy notes appearing at the finish. The barleywine boozines on the nose does not translate to a fusel burn, but does make its gentle presence known. I don't know how long I've been aging this, but it was worth it!

One awesome apple brandy barrel-aged barleywine, high abv at 16.5% and full of unique applebarrel flavors. Dry and surprisingly just moderately boozy, with toffee notes and not too sweet, it’s a hammer elixir. Aged an additional year, it’s just top notch.
