Another very late checkin. This was absolutely amazing and supremely drinkable for the ridiculously hugh ABV. Diverse flavor body with sweet molasses, big time oak wood tannins, dark toffee and caramel, lighter rye, plum, and plenty of dark fruit. 4.75

Elevated, thin, toffee raisin, no heat on the barrel, but still present on taste

Finishing this Canada Day with the goat barleywine of Canada, DBA Coniferous. Nothing comes close to it in Canada. As amazing as the few times before. Happy Canada Day everyone!

This was pretty tasty. Big malt profile w a nice richness & fairly sweet caramel/dark sugar edge. Big malt stood up to big barrel profile. Lots of bourbon flavor that melded well w barleywine base. Touch of rye spice worked well w oak character. Tasty.
