Belgian strong can be strange beasts. I prefer a hearty malt bill to back up the booze, much like a bock. I prefer an assertive yeast character to differentiate these brews from their strong lager cousins. This just has a bitter biting hop dose,not for me

I had a couple of kinda middling beers from this brewery in the fall of 2024, so I'm happy to report this Golden Strong is much better! It's a bit hoppier (and less appley) than your typical beer in this style, but it works well 👍
