Reason Tatters (Bourbon Barrel Aged With Chocolate And Vanilla)

Three different barrels were blended to create what we think is our best barrel aged beer yet. To create this version, we used our base stout that was aged in 2 Buffalo Trace barrels (32 and 24 months) and from a Sagamore Rye barrel aged 18 months. Enhanced with over 3 pounds of Madagascar vanilla beans and generous amounts of Ecuadorian cacao nibs, the result is a pour of decadent, viscous chocolate cake topped with the slightest hint of cherry and nuts.
