Decided to keep this back from Christmas 2019. Came home last Sunday and went for it. It’s really lovely and the caramelisation from over 3 years in the cellar have balanced out what felt quite a overly Cinnamon and Clove flavoured beer.

Not a clove hater so I'm ok with this! It really hits all the Xmas cake notes and for me the smell is very Pedro Ximenez. If you don't like the spicy clove thing this is probably not for you though.

This is a good, thick, rich stout however for me there is way too much clove. I am very sensitive to it so the score reflects my taste, not the quality. I couldn’t finish it. Clove haters beware 😳
