A nice head on this. Good aromas of roasted malt and coffee. Delicious creamy mouthfeel and a flavour of milk chocolate. Nice roasty coffeeish finish. It's great for the ABV I'm impressed, I expected it to be thin and watery.

I guess a “session-strength stout” isn’t a terrible idea, but … why not just brew a proper mild? This really isn’t bad – some nice stout flavours: dark bread, roasted malts, chocolate – but it feels a little watered down for all that. Good alternative.
