An (always) eloquent description c/o Zach at Cellar West:
"Wayward Badger pours a bright golden color, with little to no sediment, true to its Pilsner form. The glass opens with aromas of dry oak, honey dipped crackers, hayfields, herbal hops, and lemon rind. At first sip elements akin to our trademark Farmhouse Ales are present - a distinct Brettanomyces note and a very dry, effervescent mouthfeel. As the beer settles in you'll notice the lager backbone that makes Wayward Badger so unique. Behind all the wild character developed during barrel aging, there's a recognizably clean lager essence expressing those german malts, noble hops, and pleasant little mineral/sulphur undertone."
This was a fun collaboration project on both ends and a great way to get together to celebrate the camaraderie within this great industry, as well as embrace our shared Wisconsin root! Show Less
