Catskill Veteran's Best Bitter

This beer pours a hazy deep amber with a thick tan head and subtle aromas of herbal spice, black tea, and orange rind. It’s mid bodied with a pleasant bitterness and flavors of toasty pie crust, earthy noble spice, and black tea.

A best bitter is a mid to low ABV style of British bitter ale, ours clocks in at 4.5%. We used a floor malted malted Maris Otter as the base malt for this beer, which gives it a really nice depth of malt character. We used East Kent Golding hops for bittering and we used the 2019 Veteran’s Blend from YCH hops for our whirlpool and dry hop additions. Show Less
