One Key Double Fruited Funky Blender (Perfection/Independence) Bottled 9/4/19

One Key is our line of EF exclusive blends made with basically quadruple fruit! For this blend, we took 3 barrels of lower acid Funky Blender and aged it on organic apricots from Palisade, Colorado for 4 weeks at a rate of 3.5 pounds per gallon.

Now, this would normally get packaged and be a fruited Preserves beer. But not today. We transferred the beer off the apricots and onto fresh juicy and ripe organic Palisade nectarines at a rate of over 4 pounds per gallon! This beer fermented on the nectarines for another 4 weeks before we naturally bottle conditioned it until now! Last years blends used a bit more apricots than the second fruit.
