Happy Cowshake IPA Raspberry Ripple

Our first dalliance with the milkshake IPA genre of beer, with a typical Carnival twist.

This isn't a fruit beer masquerading as an IPA, it's an IPA through-and-through. We brewed a huge oat and wheat laden IPA base wort, added lactose into the boil and fermented with our house pale yeast. We then added a huge dose of raspberry puree, freeze-dried raspberry and dry hopped with the wonderful Barbe Rouge. This French-grown hop imparts raspberry and bramble flavours with a good level of hoppy juiciness to remind you this IS an IPA, first and foremost. We finished the beer with more freeze-dried raspberry and Madagascan vanilla beans to add woody, tobacco aromas. A big beer and ideal for fans of IPA and fruit beers. Vegetarian Show Less
