Black Mountain

Black Mountain isn't really a mountain, but it is a major landmark for the good people of Belfast, home of one of our founders. Black Mountain Schwartzbier isn't really a lager, but we have made our own interpretation of a black lager, using lager malt and lagering for 6 weeks to bring you a crisp, refreshing beer but with some Carnival twists. We added 5% German smoked malt which elevates the roast backbone of the chocolate malt we used in the grist. But only slightly... then the blend of sweet and sour cherry purees into the finished beer and complete the conditioning period on the fruit, gently spunding before the finished beer is carbonated for packaging.
