Pours reddish brown with a frothy head. Malty nose of bread and a caramel with earthy undertones. Taste matches the nose - bread, some roasty bitterness, bit of berry and a dry earthy finish. Lots of flavour for the ABV. Medium, smooth body. Decent. 4.3%.

I had this out of a bottle before but in cask it’s a different beast - far more subtle and a better mouthfeel. It even smells better.
