Artemisia

Artemisia is one of our cross-continental IPAs. It is hopped generously with our hand-selected lot of both Citra® hops from the United States and Nectaron® hops from New Zealand. Crafted with American malted barley, white wheat, specialty British malt, and our house ale yeast, this ale is soft, complex, and refreshing. We taste notes of candy peach rings, passion fruit, orange sorbet, and lemon peel. It is named after Artemisia (lived ~480 BCE), who was the queen of Halicarnassus and an ally of the Persians during the second Persian invasion of Greece. She personally commanded five ships during the invasion and was known for her courage and wisdom. Show Less
