Perfect Storm

A spectacularly unusual beer, brewed with extra special friends.

This summer we got together with our homies at Bayview Brewing in Ladysmith, BC, to devise a unique beer that we then brewed with, and for, our friends at the Alberta Craft Alliance.

Perfect Storm Smoked Porter with Pineapple and Chipotle (6%) is a maelstrom of flavour. There is light pipe tobacco and hickory smoke on the nose, along with nuanced dark chocolate, tied up with a fresh pineapple citrus hit. There’s some very subtle lingering chipotle zing, which only serves to intrigue the senses and entice the next sip. The flavours combine beautifully to truly create the Perfect Storm.

The Alberta Craft Alliance brings together partners in the craft brewing community in Alberta who are dedicated to the continued growth and development of quality beer, and offer independent retail channels to sell these beers. This beer is available at these fine establishments exclusively for two weeks before general sales open.
