Brooding roasty aroma with mocha, singed caramel. A fair bit of body, luscious texture. Quite sweet, never dries out. Modest, slightly peppery bitterness. Some overt booze. Mainly offers big mocha and roast - it's enough.

Absolutely delicious export porter. Super roasty with a real richness to it. Oxymoronic "is it thick or thin?" body, a puzzle in the mouthfeel department. Touch of sweetness, touch of booze, just woody tobacco richness. Fine example of a niche beer.
