A big BIG beer. My first Eisbock in a long while. Might as well make it a 14.5% Imperial! That's a sweet syrupy brew. Almost like an ice wine in flavour and mouthfeel. The booze factor is big too! It would make a great meal beer.

Speaking of bush pilots. If you have 10-20 of these laying around after a plane crash in the wilderness you’ll be just fine. The beers help loosen the mood during the long nights awaiting rescue, and make the tiny woodland creatures a little sexier. 😉

Toffee, nuts, Christmas cake. Raisiny like a butter tart. A bit sticky on the finish. But yeah it’s 14.5%. Very sad not to see this beer - or any Bush Pilot releases - come back. Every one was good. And Ontario is awash in mediocrity.
