Old Black Hen (2018 Vintage)

This hand-harvested sour beer is made from dark ale fermented in steel, rested in our Brunello foudres, and aged in oak barrels for one year. The beer is then racked upon 2000# of Pinot Noir grapes and juice that was selected by our team for our upcoming vermouth program. Grapes were picked, destemmed and foot treaded by Burial’s owners and then fermented upon their own skins with their natural yeast. An extremely unique hybrid drinking experience that combines the natural fermentations of this Pinot and our sour program, blended together. Show Less
