They are within us always. These gracious gifts of tradition. And they are ignored, trampled underfoot, and made to be mundane in the mind of the egomaniacal. But not today. Nothing shall be left behind. The splendor of German Bock has been passed down since the 14th century, and into the hands of American innovators who bastardized it oh so splendidly. We have deviated in our ways, brewing with Light and Dark Munich Malts, English barley, accented with a dose of dark crystal German malts. This beer was fermented in steel and then lagered in our American Oak foudre for many weeks, to acquire depth and complexity from the wood's lingering vanillins. The finished product is full of dark fruit basket, pumpernickel, roasted pecan and saltine. Show Less
