Sausage Queen Boss Ale

When Chrissy and Jim from The Sausage Factory in Dulwich Hill asked us to make a beer that would be approachable, pair well with their food, and be a 'gateway' for the non-craft beer initiated, we had the challenge of trying to come up with something that matches all these criteria, while still having a dash of Bucket Boys flair to it.

The result of our brainstorming, is a Belgian Witbier, but not as you know it. We brewed this in such a way, so that it has the body and mouthfeel of a classic farmhouse ale, while also keeping the ester production from the Belgian yeast to a minimum. To top it off, the beer is dry hopped to lift the flavour profile to resemble that of a tasty pale ale.

This is Boss Ale, a hybrid Farmhouse/Belgian Wit/Pale ale. A beer for everyone, that matches perfectly with a big, meaty sausage. Show Less
