I haven’t had too many brown ales, but I like this one. Pretty bitter, long lingering beautiful finish. Like a tart marmalade with grapefruit and dark berries, unsweetened lingonberries, cacao, bitter orange, green perfumy (piney?) green notes. Harsh!

Really like this beer. Dark, malty, almost sirupy sweet, black bread. Floral and earthen aromas and a thick-ish mouthfeel with a good bitterness. Very distinct licorice flavour. A nice, autumnal beer.
