Review stays, simply because as an ipa I dont think it cuts it. If it were a stout with a hop bite, it'd be a 4+ (ala TenFidy).
BRUJOS: It is pretty much a combination of the classic IPA style with the Porter or Stout variety, the Black IPA landing somewhere in the middle.

Ferni Estrella: Subtle on the hops, delivering only on the stout side. If it were a 'hoppy' stout, then it would fall more on the Storm King Caregory.
Ferni Estrella: If I walk up to the bar and order anything with IPA in its name, I expect it to bite - this one carressed.

Overhyped? Yes, there is such a thing in Tijuana. Good hop profile gets a bit overwhelmed by the stout. Warm pour from Madueño didnt help.

BRUJOS: Sorry about the warm pour! Sad thing about this style of beer is that by this point, the best characteristics of the hops have dissipated.
