3rd bar in Basel. Exquisite elegant Lambic from fridge. Expensive too but well worth its every 17 Franc (20US/600NT 🤯). Somewhat salty, somewhat grapefruity. Beautiful blend by handcrafted care. One can literally taste the skill.

Anders Norell: Julie J. I thought it was OK. 9/12 Franc (350/500cc) After all, what in Switzerland is NOT expensive? Food is outrageously charged. Be thirsty, better not hungry.
Anders Norell: I felt Zürich and Geneve were more costly and worse choice. At least Basel has a lively scene with lots of options. More than you can drink in one visit.

Apple skins and apple purée in the nose. Dirty, gentle apple juice with some green stalks, grapes and oak barrels in the body. Browning apple skin tannins adding tobacco leaf notes and worn in muddy walking boot leather. Then a smear of soft goats cheese.
