Soy sauce, wood and dark fermented citrus. It’s not the bestest, but it has stayed quite good. Certainly better than the well-aged Orval I’ve had before.

Holy moly.. Hvilken flaske... Vinøsiteten er helt oppe at ringe. Masser af tørrede frugter. Skarpheden fra alkoholen er helt væk, og den er nu varmende hele vejen ned. Nu er den bare helt blød og lækker.

Still drinking well. Malt has mellowed but still sweet with some caramel sour notes. Can’t taste the alcohol but ya can definitely feel it. Warms the stomach which is just what a holiday Belgian should do. Here to old beers and a great New Year. CHEERS 🍻
