For this particular Oude Geuze Platinum Blend, we blended lambikken originating from five different barrels and six different brews. Instead of the usual 25% of four-year-old lambik, this blend contains about 35% and half of two-year-old lambik. This pushes the weighted average age of the blend to more than 30 months. We added our own summer honey to the blend, sourced in Bree-Eik, a full organic farm in Lennik, Pajottenland, where we hold a part of our bee hives. Almost half of the grains used in the brews, were also sourced within our cereal circle. Show Less
