Grapes are almost gone except a funk-floral-honey which is more a shadowy Malvasia flavor. Anyway it has just some very small signs of oxidation. Then has an incredible dryness turn. Persistency is so long and makes your throat a bit warm too.

Super dry, slightly oxidized. Grapes seem almost completely fermented out. Woody and tart. Funk is also muted, yet subtlety there.

Consumed 12/9/12 from a 2002 bottle courtesy of Joe and Allen. Pours a beautiful golden color with medium white head, wasn’t lasting. Notes were tons of dusty oak, vegetative scents, mildy acidic and sour lemons, grapes/vino, cheese and some more…
