First time I've tried this in a bottle. A great showcase for bottle conditioned ales. Superb balance of roasted malt/barley astringency and hop bittness, flavour and aroma. Hats off to the brewer

I'm not keen on USA-hopped beers, but this is a very well-crafted ale. The astringency of the roasted malt (almost) cuts through the cloying in-your-face vulgarity of the American hop character. The best dark "American IPA"/pale ale I've tasted to date
