Thin with very little flavor.. I get a hint of bourbon mixed with a stale chocolate flavor. Might be from this method of removing gluten described on the bottle. Those proteins add mouthfeel and help round out stouts.

This brew is kinda odd. Metallic nose, body is thin and a tad metallic/tart, bottle character is limited. Not sure if it's the hefe yeast or if this represents an evolving infection. Either way, not exactly the dessert stout they advertise.

I think the here yeast makes it. Has a sharper metallic style taste from the bottle. Has a sweet choco malty taste kinda like choco syrup. Subtle bourbon barrel aged taste. Way better than expected, very delighted!
