Finally brought this baby out. Bottled in 2017. Dark fruit that you expect from an Ommegang dark ale with a subtle hint of bourbon from the buffalo trace barrels. Drinks very smooth for 11.5%.

Worth the wait! Heavy bourbon nose. Boozy, a bit syrupy (def. molasses), but not cloying. Smooth at the front, dry-ish finish. Complex flavor - a little less sweet and it’d be darn near perfect.
