One of my favourite Brentwood's. Maybe not quite an ESB, but it's a dark amber, smooth full bodied ale with malted fruit loaf flavours. Going for the step-up Lumberjack next.

James Thompson: They're a pretty decent local brewery Andy T. and been around a while. This, Lumberjack and Chocwork Orange are very good. They have an experimental sub-brand Elephant School too.

Local brewery to me. This is a rich fruity almost ESB style dark amber brew. Sweet and slightly syrupy, it's very easy drinking. I've got to remember I can walk to the Co-op to buy something this good!
